CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Bank awarded scholarships to one hundred and eighty-two (182) candidates to the Senior High School as beneficiaries under its scholarship scheme since its inception in 2003. The total amount of GHS37,500.00 has been spent on scholarships over a period of five years.
  • The Bank has constructed a Senior High Secondary School (Nankeseman Senior High School) for Nankese where its Head Office is located. The amount of GH¢550,000.00 has been invested in the project.
  • It makes donations with items such as knapsack spraying machines, wheelbarrows, wellington boots, and sewing machines towards the National Farmers Day celebrations in the municipalities in its catchment area (Suhum, Nsawam-Adoagyiri, West Akim, Kwaebibirim and New Juaben South Municipalities) as well as Ayensuano and Upper West Akyem Districts. The total amount of GHS25,000.00 has been spent over the past five years.
  • In 2015, the Bank renovated the old post office of Nankese for use by the Ghana Police Service of Nankese. The total amount of GH¢30,000.00 was spent on the renovation.
  • In 2017 and 2018, the Bank spent GH¢58,390.00 and GH¢35,399.00 respectively on corporate social responsibility activities in a number of communities within its catchment area.
  • The Bank spent GH¢50,000.00, GHS30,000.00 and GH¢77,394.00 on corporate social responsibility activities in a number of communities within its catchment area in 2019, 2020, and 2021.
